Our History
Established in 2020, The Leake Co. carries forward a deeply personal and generational passion for artistic jewelry.
Named in honor of my great-grandmother’s family, the studio reflects a legacy rich with meaning & craftsmanship.
Inspired by my grandmother’s jewelry box — always filled with unique pieces, each with its own fascinating story — I wanted to bring a home for custom jewelry and personal shopping to Louisville.
The Leake Co. was created as a warm, inviting space for those seeking a different, more thoughtful approach to fine jewelry.

My path to fine jewelry began as a creative pivot from a career in classical music. That shift led me to the Gemological Institute of America, where I earned my certification as a Graduate Gemologist and discovered a deeper passion for the art and science behind fine jewelry.
I’ve since worked with renowned independent jewelers and world-class designers whose expertise and artistry helped shape my approach to craftsmanship, artistry, and service. Their influence is reflected in every piece I design — thoughtful, enduring, and made with integrity.

At The Leake Co., we believe that meaningful jewelry should also create meaningful impact.
That’s why we’ve launched Giving Back with Leake — a quarterly initiative where we donate a portion of the saved processing fees to a carefully chosen non-profit organization.
When clients choose to pay via cash, ACH, or check instead of credit card, a portion of the money saved on processing fees is donated to support a new charity each quarter. It’s our way of turning everyday choices into lasting change.
